“Aferim!” Screened at the Romanian Film Centennial in Câmpina

     On May 12, 2018, the Romanian Film Centennial event arrives in Câmpina. At the “Geo Bogza” Culture House the film Aferim! (directed by Radu Jude) will be screened, starting with 18:00. The special guest of the event is the actor Cuzin Toma.
     In the opening, Agerpress, the co-organizer of the event, will present the documentary dedicated to the event, The Greater Union – 100 Years of Romania. The video editorial office of the AGERPRESS National Press Agency presents the documentary produced on the occasion of celebrating the Centenary of the Great Union from 1918, showing how this desideratum of the Romanians was accomplished. The film was made by Mihuţ Năstăsache,      Marilena Stănescu and Sergiu Olteanu. The cinematography was signed by Alfred Schupler, Sergiu Olteanu and Andrei Cârlan. The reporters were Marilena Stănescu, Mihuţ Năstăsache and Camelia Moise. The graphics, sound and editing are signed by Andrei Cârlan and the technical assistant was Alex Vintilescu.
     The access to the event is free, upon seats availability.
     Initiated by the ARTIS Association and by the MIA Community Association, organized by the Iași City HAll and the Iași Athenaeum, the Romanian Film Centennial event was launched on February 3, 2018 in Iași, the city which saw important moments from the Great Union of Romania.
     The Romanian Film Centennial is a project running under the Centennial Anniversary program of the Iași City Hall (2017-2020).
