The feature, made in 1965 and winner, one year later, of the Debut Award at the Cannes Festival, will be screened at the PRL Museum (the Museum of the People's Republic of Poland) of Krakow, during an exhibition dedicated to the communist era in Central and Eastern Europe.
The exhibition will be open to the public until 1 March 2017, and is showing images from four ex-Socialist countries - Poland, GDR, Romania and Yugoslavia – following the critical event in these countries' history, from the moment the Communist Parties took over the power and until the collapse of the totalitarian regimes. Each month, the exhibition will screen a film made during the communist era in one of the four above-mentioned countries.
