One-day Adventures (2008)

Vlad is a famous actor in Bucharest, married to Alina, who has always been tempted to have extra-conjugal relations. To make up with his wife, he takes her and their little daughter, Maria, in a holiday to the mountains. At the caban, while Alina and Vlad are arguing, Maria disappears into the forest. Her mother runs looking for for and finally, she finds Maria just in time to save her from an accident. A truck was passing trough the forest and little Maria was very closed to a terrible death. Unfornunately, the biggest danger seems to not have been the truck itself, but the driver and the other man on the car, who rape Alina. Vlad finds Alina and her daughter passed out on the grass and thinking they are dead, he has a shock. He loses his memory, without hope of recovery and is hospitalised in a sanatory for mental disabilities. After many years of waiting him to heal, Alina returns to her last fianc, although she does not accept the idea of divorcing Vlad. She is still waiting a miracole. At the hospital, Vlad is assigned to a young and beautiful female doctor. She has been in love with Vlad from the time he was a successful actor. One night, she enters his room, determined to make love with him. Vlad has an emotional shock, and recovers his memory. He then takes the decision to leave the sanatory and tries to look for his wife and child. But when he finds them in the company of Mircea, the old fianc of Alina, he suffers in silence thinking that is all his fault. Embittered, he goes to their old house where he meets Alina. Together, they remember all their beautiful memories and take the desicion to be a family again. Is time for hapiness, the painful sins are gone. Vlad has payed enough for his lies, for betrayal, for bumptiousness...
