Graduate of the “ I. L. Caragiale” Theatre and Film Institute (class of Irina Rachiteanu Sirianu / 1958). After graduation she is assigned at the Youth Theatre in Piatra Neamt where she will stay for only one year just to return to her hometown, in Cluj, at the National Theatre. Starting 1965 she plays at the “Nottara” Theatre in Bucharest. Between 1963-1992 she will teach her course of “The Technique and Art of Speech” at the Institute she graduated from. Then, between 1992-1996 she will teach “The Actor’s Art”, “Stage Speech” and “ The Analysis of the Stage Process” at the Hyperion University in Bucharest. In 1997 she is the Dean of the Arts Faculty, Acting Dpt.. Starting 2002 she coordinates the activity of the Theatre Faculty at the “ Spiru Haret “ University in Bucharest. She will get her PhD degree with the thesis ” The Word’s Role in the Making of the Stage Image”, coordinated by Professor Dr Ileana Berlogea, in 2004.
