  • Born: 28.05.1929 in Pucheni, Moreni (Dâmboviţa)
  • Died: 05.06.2012 in Montreal (Canada)
Graduate of VGIK Moscow (class of 1954). From 1955 to 1974 he was an employee of the "Alexandru Sahia" Studio. He worked as a cameraman for numerous documentaries as well as for fiction films alongside the documentary directors Mircea Săucan and Virgil Calotescu.
 

Trivia

  • He is sometimes also credited as Constatin Ionescu-Tonciu.
  • In 1974 he moves to Canada.
  • Ciclu Brâncuşi (1970) is a series about the life and work of Constantin Brâncuşi directed by  Pavel Constantinescu.
