He attended the Cinema and Polygraphy High School. Graduate of the Academy of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale" (class of 1991) – Theatre Directing program. From when he was still a student till1996 he worked as a camera technician and as an assistant director at the “Alexandru Sahia” Studio. He made a stunning debut as co-director of the short De Crăciun ne-am luat raţia de libertate / For Christams We Got our Liberty Portion made together with Cătălina Fernoagă. He works at TVR (Romanian National Television).
