She studied at the University of Fine Arts, Music and Drama "George Enescu" in Iasi. In 2008 she was named a 'European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. Member of the 'Official Competition' jury at the 15th Sarajevo International Film Festival in 2009. Member of the jury of the 'European Shooting Stars' awards presented at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival in 2016. Lives in London, UK.
