Chirescu şi Faust Nicolescu (teorie–solfegiu), Petre Elinescu şi Vasile Jianu (flaut), în paralel continuându-şi educaţia muzicală la Şcoala Militară de Muzică din Bucureşti (1938–1942), unde a început să practice şi saxofonul.
