Graduate of the Institute of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale" (class of 1961, professor Dina Cocea).
His first resounding echoes were on stage (at the Comedy Theatre and at the Bulandra Theatre) in the director David Esrig`s performances: “The Shadow” (1963), “Troilus and Cressida” (1965), “Rameau`s Nephew” (1968).
