The film is to be released and screened in 18 cities: Bucharest, Iași, Constanța, Timișoara, Craiova, Deva, Botoșani, Piatra Neamț, Lugoj, Brăila, Baia Mare, Pitești, Târgu Mureș, Ploiești, Reșița, Oravița, Vulcan and Caransebeș.

The Visitor, a young couple, Luca (Ionuț Grama) and Otilia (Oana-Irina Duțu), move to a city helped by Vlad (Oleg Apostol), their childhood friend. They rent a flat in an old building, where only an elderly gentleman, Felix (Ion Haidu) lives. The place has a bleak history: the former tenant, Irina (Andreea Boșneag), disappeared in mysterious circumstances six months ago. One night, Otilia disappears just like Irina. Luca will have to find out what happened to his wife, and also to deal with the others' accusations.
“It's easy today to say independent film. But, for us, it was truly independent: small crew, only 15 day of shooting (13 cumulated and two day for additional shots, shootings during the coldest nights of the year), real locations, but having a history equally sombre as the «role» they play in the film (we have a story about a video cassette, used in the film as prop and found on location by chance and which subsequently proved to be of a real funeral),” Jamil Hendi, film's director, stated.
The Visitor was premiered within the section Shadows a TIFF 2016, being also screened at other international festivals such as Shanghai, Cairo, Jagran or Portobello. At Fright Night Film Festival, Ionuț Grama won Best Foreign Actor in Leading Role Award.
