Starting with Friday “Legacy” Will Be in Cinemas in 25 Cities

     Starting with March 6, 2020, the film Legacy / Urma, the feature directorial debut of the director and actor Dorian Boguță, will be released in the Romanian cinemas in 25 cities and towns, distributed by Transilvania Film. The Legacy can be seen in Bucharest, Arad, Bârlad, Brașov, Caransebeș, Cluj, Constanța, Focșani, Gura Humorului, Iași, Lugoj, Odobești, Oradea, Petroșani, Piatra Neamț, Pitești, Reșița, Satu Mare, Sfântu Gheorghe, Sibiu, Târgu Jiu, Târgu Mureș, Timișoara, Vaslui.
     From March 6 to 12, the film crew will meet the audience in Cluj (March 5, Victoria Cinema, at the TIFF Cienmatheque), Arad (March 6, Arta Cinema), Timișoara (March 7, Cinema City Timișoara Shopping City), Sibiu (March 11, Ion Besoiu Cinema). In Bucharest, the director and the actors will speak about their experience with The Legacy at Cinema City AFI Cotroceni (March 5), Elvire Popesco Cinema(March 8) and the Peasant Museum Cinema( March 10).
     The film had the premiere gala on March 3, at Cinema PRO in Bucharest, in the presence of the film crew and of over 400 guests – personalities of the film industry, showbiz and media VIPs. The personality who couldn`t be at the event was Mădălina Ghenea, who chose to follow the recommendations of the authorities for those who come from Italy, from areas affected by the coronavirus epidemy  - in this case, Milano – cancelling all her public appearances in Romania. Her part in The Legacy is the first one in a Romanian film. Another person who made her feature film debut is the actress Irina Rădulescu, the daughter of the late actor Dem Rădulescu. They were joined by Teodor Corban, Marin Grigore, Dragoș Bucur, Lucian Ifrim, Liviu Pintileasa, István Téglás.
     Legacy is a policier with thriller accents about the secrets that the ones near us hide. When a famous pianist disappears, a policeman sets out to find him and he slowly finds out about his bizarre relationships and his decisions that caused a swirl of surprising events. After the death of their parents, he had become obsessed with his sister`s happiness, beyond the limits of the brother-sister love.
     The shootings took place in Bucharest and at the Vidraru Lake. The screenplay is signed by Dorian Boguță și Loredana Novak, the cinematography by Barbu Bălășoiu (Sieranevada) and the editing by Tudor Popescu. The Legacy is produced by Hai Hui Entertainment, in co-production with Mandragora, Actoriedefilm and Point Film.
     Scenes from the film are found also in the music video directed by Dorian Boguță for one of the best-known songs of the alternative rock band Urma – A Place for Me, from the album Trend Off, from 2007.
