The program of the Romanian Cinematheque of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London continues on Tuesday, June 26, with the film
One Step Behind the Seraphim / Un pas în urma serafimilor,
Daniel Sandu`s feature film directorial debut. The screening will represent the British premiere of the film which was released at the end of 2017 and which received eight Gopo
awards for Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Secondary Role. It also received the UCIN awards for Best Screenplay (Daniel Sandu), Best Actor in a Secondary Role (ali Amir) and a special mention for Ștefan Iancu. The screening is followed by a Q&A with the director.
The Romanian Cinematheque is one of the permanent programmes of ICR London, meant to bring to the British audience Romanian films of all times. Starting with 2017, the Cinematheque presents many recent Romanian films, which didn`t enter the British film distribution network.
