Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF, 27 May – 4 June) has begun the registration to the 14th Edition of the Let’s Go Digital! film workshop, intended for high-schoolers aged between 14 and 18.
Through Let's Go Digital!, TIFF aims each year at giving the youth the chance to discover and develop their skills for a potential cinema career, young people having the opportunity to go over all filmmaking stages for 10 days: screenwriting, digital camera shooting, editing and pitching the short thus made.
Following a preselection made by the trainers' team managing the workshop in Cluj, the 15 selected attendants are to work in 3-people teams, starting from a given theme. Three seniors are to join them, former Let’s Go Digital! participants, who will guide the beginners in the
making of of a film. The 5 films thus made are to be screened on the last evening for the Festival's audience, who will have the task to decide on the Best Film made within the Let’s Go Digital! 2016. The winning short will be awarded the prize at a closing gala, on the day before the last one of TIFF.
