Teodor Corban, asked by the film reviewer Cristina Corciovescu aboutwhat he considered to be a memorable sequence in a Romanian film, answered without hestitation that he'd always been impressed with the monologue delivered by Ștefan Bănică in De ce trag clopotele, Mitică?(Why Do the Bells Toll, Mitică?), directed by Lucian Pintilie. Corban and Pintilie were in the center of some special events at the 2015 National Theatre Festival.
