The short film
Salix Caprea, directed by
Valeriu Andriuță, won the awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay at the 2018 “La Cabina” International medium-length film Festival. The film was made with the support of the National Film Fund of the Republic of Moldavia and the two awards arrived last month at the offices of the institution.
In
Salix Caprea, a village mayor and one policeman investigate a theft suspect, when one phone call changes the situation completely. The mayor is informed that the next day one delegation from the US will come visit.
The film team also included: Virgiliu Mărgineanu, Mariana Liurca, Tudor Andronache, Vitalie Bantas, Ion Banaru, Roman Cantir, Galina Rosca, Elena Porumbescu, Iulia Andriuță, Petre Osman.
