After 15 years since its premiere in 2001, the feature
Marfa și banii/Stuff and Dough (directed
Cristi Puiu) will have a special screening on Wednesday, 18 May, at 20.30, at
Grădina cu filme (Film Garden).
Grădina cu filme - Cinema & More set up for this summer a special program dedicated to Romanian cinema. Each week, an evening is to be dedicated to recent domestic productions – full-length and shorts, fiction, documentary or animation.
Ileana Bîrsan, reviewer and cinema educator, is the curator of the program and will host the talks with the filmmakers and actors, following the screenings.
Stuff and Dough, the film that starts the beginning of the New Romanian Cinema, will open de series of Romanian features' screenings. The film was premiered 15 years ago, on 01.06.2001.
The screening will be followed by a talk with actors
Ioana Flora,
Alexandru Papadopol and with director of photography Silviu Stavilă, to which the viewers are invited to take part.
Grădina cu filme - Cinema & More is located in the yard of
CreART (the Centre for Art, Creation and Tradition of Bucharest Municipality), at 7 Piața Alexandru Lahovari.
