10 short feature projects and the same number of filmmakers remained in the battle for winning EURO 5.000, within The Pitch competition of Film NexT International Film Festival (7-11 April, 2016). They will undergo the finale, where they have to impress a jury made up of industry professionals.
The said jury will include Sebastien de Lame, EMEA Sales & Marketing Manager with ShortsTV, filmmaker and visual artist Ștefan Constantinescu and film reviewer Ileana Bîrsan.
The 10 filmmakers selected in the Pitch finale are, in alphabetical order, as follows: Alberto-Florentin Niculae (

The Chasm), Andreea Elena Lăcătuș (
Between the edges of the day), Bogdan Benea (
Exit), Carla Fotea (
Private Party), George ve Ganaeaard (
Alarm), Ioana-Maria Mischie (untitled project), Ligia Ciornei (
Do you believe in God?), Raluca Ungureanu (untitled project) and Șerban Racovițeanu (

The finalists will also take part to the NexT Short Film Market, in addition to The Pitch contest. Each of them will have a 45-minute talk with writer, screenwriter and
script doctor Florin Lăzărescu, and subsequently they will have the chance to pitch their projects to Romanian and foreign producers.
