Mircea Ciocâltei, invited to the 12th Cineclub FILM

Să mori rănit din dragoste de viață/Fatally Injured by Love of Life (1984, directed by Mircea Veroiu) will be screened at Cineclub FILM, on Friday evening, 27 May, from 19.00, at Eforie Cinematheque.
The guest of the evening will be the film editor and Professor Mircea Ciocâltei, who worked for most of productions by Mircea Veroiu. He will answer the questions of reviewer Dana Duma, Editor in Chief, and those put by editors of the FILM magazine, talking also about his long term collaboration with the director. The latest issue (1 / 2016) of the above mentioned publication issued by UCIN will also be presented.
About his role in this film, actor Marcel Iureș stated: “I think that one of the few valid films I've made in Romania was the one I made with Mircea [Veroiu]. First ranks, in my Romanian filmography, the feature Fatally Injured by Love of Life, where I really had an extraordinary encounter, apart from my meeting Mircea Veroiu, whom I loved, I adored. The said encounter was with Claudiu Bleonţ, with Geo Visu, artists who «blew off» the screen, they were formidable (...) The part I played in this film, that of inspector Mironescu, is the role I rank first!” (interview taken by Dana Duma and Anca Ioniță for the FILM magazine, issue no. 3/2015)
