All young filmmakers with a short in the works are invited to apply, starting on Monday, 8 August, to the first Edition of the FILM+ programme, a working, consultancy and support laboratory for short projects.
The programme intends to bring together resources and expertise within a co-operation platform meant to support filmmakers. Together with the partners and trainers involved in the FILM+ network, the programme will provide support to each selected projects depending on individual needs and on the stage it is in at the moment of its submittal.
Be it script development, production or post-production consultancy, the organisers will discuss the specific needs of each project with the selected filmmakers and will help them in accessing resources and experts for developing the respective project. The programme is to offer several types of support: mentorship and consultancy from experts engaged depending on the project's needs; access to resources such as equipment, crew, post-production and liaising to industry professionals.
This call for entries is open to short projects of any genre (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental), provided the film's duration does not exceed 40 de minutes.
The application process consists in filling in an on line form, on the FILM+ site, until 23 August, 2016.
FILM+ was born from the need to found a liaising and support framework in the cinema industry. The programme was initiated by Graphis 122 Association, co-financed by the Romanian National Filmmaking Centre and implemented in partnership with CINETic and Papillon Film, as well as with several experts involved in the mentorship programme.
