The 2nd edition of the “In Short, Europe” Festival started on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 and it will take place online until November 4, 2020. The theme is “Escape”. The festival offers the audience a collection of 15 European short films, in a
variety of genres and styles, presenting characters and images that appear and disappear, following physical or mental journeys, reaching the arrival point or the departure points, always on the run, searching for an escape which may or may not come.
Romania is represented by the animated short film
Outdoors in Isolation (2020), made by
Matei Branea. The film was made in the
Cinem@Casa section of the 224th edition of the European Film Festival from June 2020, organized by the Romanian Cultural Institite, with the support of the European Commission in Romania and of the EUNIC cluster.
