Draga Olteanu-Matei – „Uncle Mărin, the Billionaire”

The actress came to the Romanian Film Caravan in Onești to present the film Nea Mărin Miliardar (Uncle Mărin, the Billionaire), in which she starred together with Amza Pellea. She told us, with emotion, about her friendship withAmza -her classmate at the Bucharest Institute of Theatre and Cinema, more specifically the class of 1956.
The two actors were such good friends, that they even discovered they were related. In the above-mentioned movie, directed by Sergiu Nicolaescu, Draga Olteanu-Matei played Veta, Uncle Mărin's wife.
