Dracula Digital has the purpose of promoting the film education among the young people all over the country and to offer them the opportunity to get near the film universe and to discover and cultivate new talents in the Romanian cinematography. This workshop addresses the young people of 16 to 29 years old from all over Romania, who are passionate about film and photography.
24 teams submitted their application on the official site; six of them got selected for the final in Brașov.
The selected teams will have to make a maximum 3 minutes short film, shot in Brașov, during the festival.
The award offered to the winning team is of 500 Euros. The jury of the Dracula Digital is made of Ioan Big (president of the jury– journalist, writer, Pop Culture analist), Gabriel T. Bălănescu (photographer, anthropologist) and Mihaela Alexandru (actress).
Dragula Digital is made in partnership with the Transilvania University in Brașov, the Digital media section of the Sociology and Communication Faculty.
The Dracula Film Festival is a project of the Fanzin Cultural Association, made with the support of the Romanian Film center and co-financed by the Brașov County Council.
