„Free Dacians” Wins the Audience Award at FFIR

     The documentary Free Dacians / Dacii liberi, directed by Monica Lăzurean Gorgan and Andrei Gorgan, won the Audience Award at the Histories and Film Festival in Râșnov, which took place from August 20 to 29, 2018.
     The documentary brings together the inhabitants of a Dacian village, a historian, an archeologist, the members of a historic reenactment group, a group of Mystical Dacians, one protests organizer, the administrator of the UNESCO Sarmisegetusa Regia site and some participants at a Dacology Congress.
     This year`s edition of the FFIR is the first one to include a documentary competition section.
