This year, the MeCEFF “7+1” competition will show films that won the national award in each of the seven Central-European participating countries: Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.
The films selected in the competition section of this year's MeCEFF “7+1” are:

The Snake Brothers / Kobry a Užovky (the Czech Republic, 2015, directed by Jan Prušinovský),
Body / Ciało (Poland, 2015, directed by Małgorzata Szumowska),
Aferim! (Romania-Bulgaria- the Czech Republic, 2015, directed by
Radu Jude),
Koza (Slovakia- the Czech Republic, 2015, directed by: Ivan Ostrochovský),
The Tree / Drevo (Slovenia-Italy, 2014, directed by Sonja Prosenc),
Son of Saul / Saul fia (Hungary, 2015, directed by László Nemes).
The sixth edition of MECEFF “7+1” — Mediaș Central European Film Festival “7+1” is organised by the Euro Fest Association, the Town Hall of Mediaș Municipality through its Cultural Direction, the National Filmmaking Centre (CNC), the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), the Russian Science and Cultural Centre, and A.D.I. Regiunea Târnavelor.
