Several Conversations About a Very Tall Girl / Câteva conversații despre o fată foarte înaltă (directed by
Bogdan Theodor Olteanu) will have the American premiere at the 11th edition of the “Panorama Europe” Film Festival, which will take place from May 3 to 19, at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Bogdan Theodor Olteanu, moderated by the film critic and curator David Scwartz, which will take place at the closing of the festival.

Mademoiselle Paradise.
The “Panorama Europe” Film Festival is a project developed by EUNIC New York together with the Museum of the Moving Image; this year`s edition includes 18 recent, valuable European productions. The curators of the festival were David Schwartz and the chief curator of the well-known New York museum, Eric Hynes.
Several Conversations About a Very Tall Girl is the directorial feature debut of the young director Bogdan Theodor Olteanu and it features
Silvana Mihai and Florentina Năstase, as two girls who are in a complicated love relationship.
The film already has good reviews in the American press. The film critic Joshua Brunsting wrote: “the film is a gorgeous and tumultuous love story. It`s an intimate film, with intense feelings. The two lead performances are at times beautiful and other times heartbreaking. Silvana Mihai gives one of the strongest debut performances in quite some time. it`s an incredibly smart and nuanced film, tender and humane. Really a special film.”
