After its success in 2015, when over 8,000 viewers gathered to enjoy open-air cinema,
Metropolis Caravan is to return this year to Mihai Eminescu Park of Arad, between 5-10 July.
6 auteur films will be screened from Tuesday to Sunday, from 21:30. The films included in the official selection, dramas, thrillers, and documentaries for all tastes and ages, won numerous awards at important international festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, or were granted the Oscar and BAFTA Awards.
The 6 films to be screened in Arad are as follows:
Rams (Iceland, directed by Grímur Hákonarson – Tuesday, 5 July),
Dheepan (France, directed by Jacques Audiard – Wednesday, 6 July),
Le tout nouveau testament/Brand New Testament (Belgium/France/Luxemburg, directed by Jaco Van Dormael – Thursday, 7 July),
Saul fia/Son of Saul (Hungary, directed by László Nemes – Friday, 8 July),
Amy (UK, directed by Asik Kapadia – Saturday, 9 July),
Mustang (Turkey, directed by Deniz Gamze Ergüven – Sunday, 10 July).
