On May 30 and 31, 2018, the Docuart Caravan arrives in the town of Roman, where it organizes screenings with some of the documentaries which received awards at the Bucharest Docuart Fest (BDF).
The screenings take place at the Nicolae Manolescu Strunga Hall (the former festivities hall) and the access is free, upon seats availability.
The Wednesday (May 30)
programme starts at 18:00 with a
making of of the 2015 Stradivarius International Tour, which is dedicated to George Enescu and to his childhood house –
Enescu Experience, by Diana Iabrașu and Alexandru Condurache. The next film is
Moments of Silence /
Momente de tăcere (directed by Ion Donică, who received the Best Director Award) and
Secondo me (directed by
Pavel Cuzuioc).
The Thirsday programme includes

Cine iubește și lasă (directed by Victor Gălușcă), from 18:00,
Cabbage, Potatoes and Other Demons /
Varză, cartofi și alți demoni (directed by Șerban Georgescu) and

The Docuart Caravan travelled the documentary road with BMW Romania. The project is organized by the Docuart Cultural Association for Romanian Documentary and represents an extension of the Bucharest Docuart Fest. The Docuart Caravan is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and the National Identity (MCIN) and the National Film Centre (CNC).
