Bucharest International Dance Film Festival, the only film event in Romania dedicated to dance films, starts the submissions on May 4, 2020. The deadlines for submissions are: May 31 (early bird), June 14 (regular), July 5 (late).
BIDFF looks towards the future and tries to envision it, by using utopian/dystopian impulses as an instrument for reflection and dance film as a medium.
The organisers invite directors, choreographers, visual artists, animators and musicians to submit their short films to the 6 th edition of the festival, which will take
place in Bucharest, from September 3 to 6. The festival will include the two regular international and national competitions and the new competitional category for
musicals, introduced last year. The creators of animations, fiction films, experimental or documentary, are encouraged to submit short films which have themes or topics
in connection with the festival theme.
