The anniversary edition of the European Film Festival (FFE XX) is to unfold during 5-29 May, 2016, in Bucharest (5-15 May), Baia Mare (13-15 May), Cluj-Napoca (20-22 May), Târgu Mureș (20-22 May), Hunedoara (27-29 May), and Timișoara (27-29 May), screening 85 European productions.
The honorary ambassador of this anniversary edition is
Anca Damian, who made the video clip for the FFE XX. You can find on the
facebook page several exclusive images from the shooting.
Among other new things, FFE XX will have a special section dedicated to the 10 special friends of the Festival,
honorary ambassadors of the latest Festival's 10 editions, directors who made the previous year's promotion clips, which may be viewed on the Festival's site.
Because 2016 is Shakespeare's year, FFE organisers together with the British Council in Romanian have prepared a special section under the title: “Shakespeare 400”.
The European Film Festival is organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute, together with the European Commission Representation in Romania, with the support of the European countries Embassies and Cultural Centres, under the patronage of EUNIC Bucharest.
