Synopsis:

A film based on Mircea Eliade`s novel. A painter comes together with his lover Sanda to her family mansion which is in the middle of a mysterious forest. Egor hopes to find inspiration here, but soon, his staying here is troubled by Miss Christina`s ghost. Caught between the impossible love of Miss Christina from beyond death and the real one for Sanda, his fiancée, young Egor fights on the slippery realm between dream and reality.
