Bondoc (2015)

Synopsis: The story of Dan Bondoc, a 78 years old chess master who lives alone in Bucharest. His only dream is to win the tournament organized in the memory of his deceased friend, the great chess player Victor Ciocâltea. Bondoc is caught between the fights on the chess board with the much younger oponents, the fear he has no more purpose in life and the feeling that his old age turns him into an inefficatious player.
