    Graduate of Film Directing at La Fémis (Paris, 1995). He took part at several film industry workshops and trainings, such as E.A.V.E. (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) in 2006, the A.C.E. (Ateliers du cinéma européen) in 2007, TrainEastFilm in 2009, and Producers on the Move – Cannes in 2010. From 1995 to 2001 he was the Paris assignee for the News Department of Media Pro and from 2001 to 2006 he worked as a consultant for the TV channels TVR and Realitatea TV. In 2008 he became managing director of the production company Elefant Films Romania and

he has worked as a producer, making and promoting Romanian films. He is one of the organizers of the Romanian Short Waves event of the Cannes Film Festival. The Romanian films he has produced have been awarded internationally:  Camera D’Or Cannes 2006 for A fost sau n-a fost?, directed by Corneliu Porumboiu, Palme D’Or Cannes 2007 for 4 luni, 3 săptămâni şi 2 zile, directed by Cristian Mungiu. He was part of the production crew behind several critically acclaimed and box-office hit films such as Visul lui Adalbert, directed by Gabriel Achim, Nunta mută, directed by Horaţiu Mălăele, Periferic, directed by Bogdan Apetrei, Nuntă în Basarabia, directed by Napoleon Helmis. He has co-produced European films: Sette opera de misericordia/Seven Acts of Mercy (Italy), directed by De Serio and starring Olimpia MelinteAgon (Albania), directed by Robert Budina, Historia de la meva mort/Story of my Death (Spain-France), directed by Albert Serra and awarded the Golden Leopard at Locarno IFF in 2013.
