Alexandru Tatos about...
...himself as an actor
: „The secret of art and artists is to be able to catch and assign to an apparently trivial fact the potencies and the generalising significances it involves.”
...being a filmmaker: „An artistic career is like a marathon run that ends when the life of the artist ends.”
...professionalism: „A movie is not only about professionalism. If a film does not have that particular, unique note, and if the characters and the story do not break the patterns becoming totally distinctive (and at the same time generally human), everything is in vain. Professionalism is something inherently mandatory, like brushing your teeth.”
