From October 4, 2019, “Mo” Is in the Romanian Cinemas


     Dana RogozMădălina Craiu and Răzvan Vasilescu are the protagonists of the film Mo, directed by Radu Dragomir. The film can be seen in the Romanian cinemas starting with October 4.
Mo and her friend are caught cheating during exam by the toughest professor in the university. The two of them ask for a second chance and the professor asks them to pass an unexpected examination.
     “The idea of this film came to me after I saw a piece of news on TV with a student from Cluj who had filmed her professor in his room, while he was asking her to have sex with him, in exchange for passing the exam that he had had her fail three times in a row.” the director Radu Dragomir says. Aarc interviewed the director shortly after the premiere that took place at TIFF.
Radu Dragomir`s directorial debut, Mo, was selected in the official competition at Sarajevo and in Romania, it had the preview at TIFF. Mo was well received  both by the audience and by the press and the film critics.
     The shootings took place in 2017 and 2018 in Bucharest and it is produced by Scharf Film Production and Strada Film. The cinematography is signed by Liviu Mărghidan, the editing by Tudor D. Popescu, the sound by Marius Stănescu, and the costumes by Adina Bucur. Gabriel Bucur is the art director. The film was made with the support of CNC; the financers – Media Investment and Optimum Media.
     Starting with October 4, 2019, Mo can be seen in the Romanian cinemas, distributed by Bad Unicorn.
