Masterclass with Dana Bunescu, at the Student Film Festival in Tel Aviv


    From June 10 to 16 2018, the International Student Film Festival will take place at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. During this event, under the title “Editing the New Wave of the Romanian Cinema”, Dana Bunescu is invited to hold two masterclasses
 about editing techniques, sound and the subtle tension between image and sound in the Romanian cinema. The first one will be held on June 14, for the professionals and the second one will be held on June 15, for the students, from 17:00.
     Dana Bunescu graduated the Bucharest „I. L. Caragiale” Theatre and Film Academy, multimedia section (editing, sound and computer graphics) and the Faculty of Physics of the Bucharest University (the specialty Optics, Lasers and Applications). During the years, Dana Bunescu received numerous awards for her work, both as an editor and a sound designer. In 2017 at the Berlin International Film Festival she received the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution for the film Ana, mon amour
     International Student Film Festival in Tel Aviv was founded in 1986 and in time it gained an impressive reputation, being considered by CILECT (the International Organization of the Film Schools) as one of the most prestigious events of its kind in the world. The festival is organized and managed by students of the Tel Aviv University – Film and Television department.
