Vlad Voiculescu (“The Network”) is the new Minister of Health

     Vlad Voiculescu, the founder of the Cytostatic Network, will run, starting today, the Ministry of Health.

     President Klaus Iohannis signed this morning the Decree appointing Vlad Voiculescu as Minister of Health. The swearing-in ceremony by Vlad Voiculescu will be held on Friday, at 14:00, at the Cotroceni Palace.
     Vlad Voiculescu set up in 2008 the so-called Cytostatic Network, a group of over 400 volunteers all over Europe who brought to Romania medicines for cancer patients. The story of this system initiated by him was also the theme of the documentary directed by Claudiu Mitcu – Rețeaua/The Network.
