Two features directed by Stanley Kubrick and Sergei Paradjanov will be accompanied by original music for the first time in Romania in cine-concerts, and a very special Finnish artist, Kimmo Pohjonen, will bring an unique performance to Cluj.
The Students' Culture House (CCS) is to host some of the special events included in the 15th Edition of the Transylvania International Film Festival (27 May – 5 June), the first tickets being made available for sale at
www.biletmaster.ro starting on 4 March, 2016.

An ambitious and novel musical project that implied the remix of a SF masterpiece -
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), directed by Stanley Kubrick. Former guitar
player of the Noir Désir band, Serge Teyssot-Gay, and drummer Cyril Bilbeaud make up the duo Zone Libre, already gaining recognition for their rock and rap experiments, for soundtracks (
Gainsbourg) and original accompaniment for mute films such as:
Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari,
Taboo or
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

The Finnish
Kimmo Pohjonen, an exceptional artist, famous for the concerts he performed to an instrument whose sound he revolutionised – the accordion, is to return to Romania at TIFF, after his 2014 concert at the Jazz Festival in
Gărâna.
