Each year, the representative offices of the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) abroad pay special attention to the celebration of our National Day by organising an ample series of cultural manifestations, concerts and exhibitions.
On this occasion, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Paris, in partnership with the Embassy of Romania in the French Republic, is setting up the 9th edition of the Romanian Film Week in Paris, from 5 to 12 December, an edition that will be held in premiere at Cinéma Le Lincoln, close to Champs-Elysées. The Romanian Film Week in Paris will present the French viewers the latest Romanian films, released between 2016-2017. Over eight days, 16 screenings will be organised, including 14 feature films, of which a classical film and two documentary films. Debates will be also held with the directors or the members of the crew or the actors, as well as with the guests. The honorary guest of the Film Week will be the writer and filmologist
Cristian Tudor Popescu, and the debates will be hosted by film producer
Dan Burlac.
The events organised have the purpose to make Romanian culture known abroad and to increase its visibility, thus being in line with the Romanian Cultural Institute's mission to pay special attention every year to the celebration of our National Day.
