Director Michel Franco, special guest at Anonimul 2017

     The 14th Edition of the Anonimul International Independent Film Festival will be held from 7 to 13 August 2017, in Sfântu Gheorghe, Danube Delta.

     The special guest of this year's edition will be Mexican director Michel Franco, known for his films Daniel & Ana, Después de Lucia / After Lucia (Uncertain regard, Cannes 2012), Chronic (Best Screenplay, Cannes 2015) and Las hijas de Abril / April's Daughter (nominated to Un certain regard, Cannes 2017). The above-listed films will be available for viewing at Anonimul 14, each screening being followed by a talk with the director.
     Michel Franco is also the producer of two of the films included in the programme of the Festival: 600 Miles (directed by Gabriel Ripstein, Best Debut Award, at Berlinale 2015) and Desde allá / From Afar (directed by Lorenzo Vigas, Golden Lion at the Venice 2015 Film Festival).
