Crystal Globe Big Trophy of 53rd edition of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival this year and it represents
Romania`s proposal to receive a nomination for the 2019 Oscars Gala, for the category “Best Film in a Foreign Language”.

I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians" tells the story of staging a historical reenactment for a street performance. The feature film had its world premiere on July 2 during the Karlovy Vary Film Festival and it will be released in the Romanian cinemas on September 28.
The international film press called it an “intelligent warning sign” regarding populism, “a provocative, sarcastic and momentous act of interrogation between the past and the present” and a “daring comedy-drama”.
