The competition of the
Central European Film Festival (3 – 9 September, Timișoara) includes 13 films from Central-European countries (Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania), and South-Eastern European countries (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania).
The festival's program includes the following films:

The Golden Five (directed by Goran Trenchovski),

A Good Wife / Dobra zena (directed by Mirjana Karanovic),
Smac (directed by Elias Demetriou),
1945 (directed by Ferenc Török),
Enclave / Enklava (directed by Goran Radovanovic),
The Teacher (directed by Jan Hrebejk),
Life Is a Trumpet / Zivot je truba (directed by Antonio Nuić),
Godless / Bezbog (directed by Ralitza Petrova) and
Thank you for Bombing! (directed by Barbara Eder).
All competition screenings will be held at Cinema Timiș.
The Jury is made up of: Dite Dinesz (TV producer, Romania), James Ulmer (film critic, USA), László Kántor (producer, Hungary), Ingeborg Bratoeva-Daraktchieva (film historian, Bulgaria), Wolfgang Ruf (scriptwriter and film critic, Germany).
Admission to the event is free of charge.
