“Teenagers and documentaries”, a project of the Bloc Zero Association, intends to create a context of information, teaching and debate, starting from a unique educational instrument – documentary film.
The program contains a series of alternative lessons thought around some documentaries that speak about relevant subjects for the times we live in, such as
the future of education, ecology and the environment protection, the rights of the elder people or key-problems of the national and/or European economy.
The films can be seen for free on the project website, during some live streaming events scheduled on Monday, April 27, 2020 and on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. The
two films which open the program,
The School in the Cloud (directed by Jerry Rothwell, 2018) and
Berlin Rebel High School (directed by Alexander Kleider,
2016), present different matters that students and teachers face, both in our country and in other parts of the world.
