Premiere of ”Muzeon-Ștefan Râmniceanu”, a documentary directed by Laurențiu Damian

Muzeon - Ștefan Râmniceanu, the experimental art documentary directed by Laurențiu Damian, had its premiere on the 12th of February, at the Elvira Popescu Cinema of the French Institute in Bucharest.
An unconvential portrait of the artist ȘtefanRâmniceanu, the film tries to catch the spirit of Muzeon. The museum-building seems to be built around his works and not a classical exhibition space. The artist confesses that he wants “to live” in a statue and the film goes along with his thought.
Dănuț Pădure`s refined cinematography, the music specially composed by Cosmin Lupan, Liliana Iorgulescu`s choreography create an artistic portrait directed by Laurențiu Damian, on the script written by the academician RăzvanTheodorescu. The documentary is produced by Video Art Studio which belongs to the Ministry of Culture. After the screening, ȘtefanRâmniceanu and the crew had a q&a with the audience. The artist full-heartudly read a message dedicated to Laurențiu Damian.
At the event, distinguished guests were present: Radu Boroianu, the president of the Romanian Cultural Institute, Elisabeta Bostan, Laurențiu Damian`s professor in film directing, many filmmakers and friends of Ștefan Râmniceanu.
