The doc “The Hunt for Transylvanian Gold” had its premiere


     Romania’s National Museum of History and Kogainon Films present The Hunt for Transylvanian Gold, a documentary about the theft of the Dacian, 2000 years old, gold bracelets.
     The event is to take place Wednesday, the 25th of January 2017, at 17.00, at the Museum on Calea Victoriei. 
     The doc stresses upon the investigation that took more than 10 years and developed on two continents: Europe and North America. The investigation was supervised by Romania’s General Prosecutor, Augustin Lazar, the then Gen.Prosecutor of the town of Alba Iulia and it unveiled the fact that in the Sarmizegetusa area the treasure hunters discovered 24 Dacian gold bracelets.
     The doc has a duration of 50 min. and offers catching pieces of info about the networks dealing with artifact traffic on the black market, treasure hunters, antiquity expertise, the imprisoned suspects and the 13 recuperated bracelets.
The doc is a Kogainon production (Boston) and the crew were both Romanian and American.
