Cinepub premiere – the documentary “Romanian Cinema”

“If we go to a film theatre, why should we see ourselves again, with our problems? Isn't it better to see aliens, mutants, transformers?”, director Radu Muntean said in his documentary of the week on Cinepub.
The more appreciated Romanian films are by the international festival world, the more the domestic audience runs away from them, and the number of film theatres in our country is decreasing dramatically.
Romanian Cinema (directed by Vlad Nedelcu) is a documentary who brings face to face the players of the New Romanian Cinema with the audience. Florin Șerban (director),Ana Ularu (actress), Victor Rebengiuc (actor), Ada Condeescu (actress), Ada Solomon (film producer),Radu Muntean (director), Adrian Sitaru (director) and Irina Margareta Nistor (film reviewer) talk about the latest years' changes in the Romanian cinema. The cinematography was signed by none other than a consecrated operator of the New Romanian Wave. Andrei Butică was the director of cinematography for this film.
