The shy little girl who lived her kindergarten years at the Buftea Studios and played in Veronica grew up to become the beautiful young Forest Woman. Her partner from the film directed by Nicolae Mărgineanu, Adrian Pintea, was her acting professor at the Film and Theatre Academy. Alexandru Tatos named her directly the beautiful Girl in The Secret of the Secret Weapon. After a long absence from the country and from the Romanian films, Șerban Marinescu gave her the part of the magnate`s official mistress in Family Album. Manuela Hărăbor who was labeled as “the Romanian classical beauty” played few parts in films, raised her son and got involved in independent theatre projects. The film director Tudor Giurgiu “saw” her as Anita Ekberg in Fontana di Trevi, for the promo of the 2015 Europen Film Festival.
“Everything happens for a reason.” says Manuela Hărăbor now.
