For the 6th edition in a row, the only jury of the One World Festival will be made of 5 high school students, who will give the OWR Trophy.
The 11th edition of the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival take place from March, 16 until 25, 2018, in Bucharest.
The call for entries started and the high students who are interested (9th-12th grade) are invited to send a free essay with their answer to the question “Are you really what you study?”, based on their own experiences and on their expectations regarding the educational system. The deadline is February, 18, 2018. The members will be announced at the beginning of March.
The theme of the essay is connected to one of the sections of the OWR 11,
Education in the 21st century. It includes films that analyze the situation of the old educational systems, which exists not only in Romania, but all over the world, as well. The program “One World Romania at School” has been trying for several years to include the documentary as a learning tool in the high schools all over the country.
