Call for entry: OWR Civil Society Pitch, until February, 16


  The One World Romania International Human Rights and Documentary Festival continues the Civil Society Pitch workshop (March, 16-25) in 2018 as well. The ones that are invited to join the event are the organizations and the activists that fight for defending the human rights, the documentary filmmakers, directors and producers and the visual artists from Romania, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria and Hungary.
     The workshop will take place at the ARCUB cultural center and it will be moderated by: Rada Šešić, a documentary director and programmer of the documentary film festivals in Amsterdam (IDFA) and Rotterdam (IFFR) and the coordinator of the documentary competition of the Sarajevo Film Festival and by Maciej Nowicki, the Vice-President  of the Board of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Poland and the director of the WATCH DOCS International Film Festival in Warsaw.  It`s a three days workshop, it will be in English and during the first day the participants will be provided with a session dedicated to the structuring and the making of the pitch. The festival will cover the expenses for food and accommodation for three days for the participants that come from outside Bucharest. The participants will cover their transportation cost.
     The partners of the Civil Society Pitch 2018 programme are Balkan Documentary Center (Bulgaria), VERZIO International Human Rights Documentary Festival in Budapest (Hungary) and MOLDOX Association (Republic of Moldova).
