Visual artists may register until 6 September in the projects for the
photo-video TOUCH competition, carried out within the fourth Edition of the InnerSound New Arts Festival. The best project will receive the honorary prize “Teodora Maftei”.
InnerSound New Arts Festival opens the entries for the photographic competition within the fourth edition of the Festival. The photography competition, at its third edition, is naturally joined by the video component. Starting this year, visual artists who want their work exhibited at InnerSound, may enter their photo, video or mixed projects until 6 September, 2016. Each photographic project must contain between 4 – 7 photographs, and for mixed projects the limit is of 5 print photos and a video. For further details, go to the InnerSound website.
The works entered until 6 September will be analysed by the Jury of the fourth edition of InnerSound, made up of
Cosmin Bumbuț, holder of significant research scholarships and awards such as 2015 Architecture Photographer of the Year, Sony World Photography,
Șerban Mestecăneanu, independent photographer with a special inclination towards classical music and
Nicu Ilfoveanu, visual artist, Professor with the Dynamic Photography and Image within the Bucharest Art University. The winning projects will be presented within an exhibition at The Ark throughout the Festival (28 September – 1 October, 2016), included into the White Galleries' Night circuit.
In memoriam of a good friend of the Festival - journalist Teodora Maftei, who died in the fire at the Colectiv Club, the Best Project Award will bear her name.
