The second edition of BUZZ CEE International Film Festival is to start

The second edition of BUZZ CEE International Film Festival is starting today, at 19.30, with the preview screening of the film Afterimage (Poland, directed by Andrzej Wajda), at George Ciprian Theatre Hall of Buzău.
Within the competition section of the Buzău International Film Festival – BUZZ CEE, the audience may view the finalist films, 30 screenings from 17 Central and South-Eastern Europe countries, including Greece, Turkey and Israel. The Festival intends to promote quality productions from the region countries and to bring to Buzău films that rarely reach the Romanian big screens.
The jury is made up of personalities of the Romanian and European cinema industry, and is divided in three sections: feature film, short & student film and documentary film. The feature film section is juried by Maria Obretin, Irina Margareta Nistor and Maria Hengge (Germany), winner of the Long BUZZ Award, at the first BUZZ CEE Edition, with the production SIN & ILLY STILL ALIVE. The Documentary section is juried by George Kalomenopoulos, Laura Carmen Baron and Hans-Stefan Heyne (Germany). For the Short and Student Film Sections, BUZZ CEE chose a common jury, made up of Mihai Bauman, George Mihalcea and Andreea Vasile.
